Description
Mazzocato Pure Maple Butter, also known as Maple Cream or that awesome maple stuff you spread like butter, is a delightful confection made from Mazzocato Pure Maple Syrup. By heating the syrup to approximately 18 degrees Fahrenheit above the boiling point of water, cooling it to around 125 degrees Fahrenheit, and stirring until it reaches a light, creamy consistency similar to that of peanut butter. The consistency of pure maple butter is where its name comes from…because the finished product is in fact dairy-free. Pure Maple Butter is typically made from Light Amber syrup, and is a light tan colour. Four liters of maple syrup can make about three kilograms of maple butter.
